The story if told as a storytelling will sound like any other story, yes, like any other Tollywood flick, but given a thought is it like any random tollywood movie?? the answer will be a blaring NO! Trivikram yet again waves his magic wand with his magical screenplay and direction that turns a normal story Legendary.
A..aa is just another story of family issues, misunderstanding and reconciliations but what makes it pleasantly different is the touch of Trivikram.
A..Aa a family oriented story that has many flavours in it. It starts with Anu - Anasuya Ramalingam (Samantha) committing suicide angry with her mother's decision of getting her married.Anasuya is the only daughter of rich couple Ramalingam (Naresh) and Mahalakshmi (Nadiya). She is always compromising as most of her life decisions are taken by her overprotective and bossy mother, including her marriage. She even tries to kill herself, but that doesn’t change her mother’s mind. Her father Ramalingam on the other hand , understands and supports her, at the same time balancing the decisions of his wife Mahalakshmi. When her mother goes to Chennai for some work, Ramalingam secretly sends his daughter to her aunt’s house in Kaluvapudi village near Vijayawada where Anasuya meets Aanand who accompanies her on the request of his Uncle and Anu's father Ramalingam. As expected they fall in love despite the coaxing of a local landlord Pallam Venkanna on Anand to get married to his daughter Nagavalli .
As the movie goes by slowly the misunderstanding between the families too unfold.
The story is said to be inspired by a popular telugu novel "Meena" written by Yaddanapudi Sulochana Rani. It is a simple tale with brilliant story telling techniques and dialogues.
It is out and out a directors movie coupled with great acting by Samantha and Nithin.Watch out for Samantha's awesome expressions, Brilliant Cinemetography. Also Ananya and Srinivas Avasarala did an awesome job.
The logic each character uses in their dialogues and the way the director makes every character a real person on screen ,making it look very natural.
Music is very pleasant though that is not the winning point if seen independently although Mickey j did a good job.
The Comedy was so light and yet so funny.
Some scenes were a bit over the top but it was taken out in a very convincing way. There is no great story or Plot.
A simple tale told Brilliantly.
